RACS Guidelines on the Preoperative Diagnostic Workup for COVID-19
Guidelines on the “Preoperative Diagnostic Workup for COVID-19” is now available on the RACS website (1). This rapid review aims to evaluate the literature surrounding the clinical, laboratory and radiological methods that can contribute towards the diagnosis of SARS-Cov-2 —for the purpose of producing evidence-based guidance for surgeons in Australia and New Zealand.

Friday the 26th of June was Associate Professor John Vandervords last operating day at RNSH. A small celebration was held to celebrate his almost 40 years of service to the hospital.
