The Inaugural Cumberland Travelling Scholarship awarded to Dr Kai Brown.
The inaugural VH Cumberland Travelling Fellowship was awarded to Dr Kai Brown on the 15th of February. His successful abstract was “Novell therapeutic targets in the cancer-associated stroma define poor prognosis in colorectal cancer and colorectal cancer metastases”. Kai gave an excellent presentation of his work at the Surgical Grand Rounds held in the Kolling building. …

Launch of Research Education Candidature System (RECS)
The University of Sydney has built a new candidature support system for Higher Degree Research (HDR) students, their supervisors and faculties. RECS will be available to staff and students from the week commencing 8 March.
NSLHD – Biostatistics service
Biostatisticians from the NHMRC Clinical Trials Centre (CTC) will be available to assist NSLHD researchers for a full day each fortnight via remote appointments.
University of Sydney – Clinical Teacher Training Program 2021
The CTT Program is an online course delivered across six weeks. The course requires 3 hours of participation per week. Participants will be assessed on participation in online activities, including a Zoom workshop. At the completion of the program, you will receive a certificate, as evidence of formal teacher training.
