Overview of Service
The RNSH Otolaryngology Head and Neck Department is a world class group of dynamic surgeons who provide all levels of general children and Adult ENT care to the local community as well tertiary referral care for otology, anterior / lateral skull base surgery & all aspects of Head and Neck Cancer management.

- Endoscopic Ear Surgery (minimally invasive) and cochlear implantation
- Pituitary & Anterior Skull Base surgery including tumour resection, CSF leak repair
- All aspects of Head and Neck Cancer resection/reconstruction and associated care

Head of Department
Dr Martin Forer is an ear, nose and throat (ENT) surgeon with a special interest in rhinology and paediatric ENT problems.

Royal Australian College of Surgeons Supervisor
Specialising in Endoscopic Ear Surgery for Cholesteatoma and Chronic Ear Infection, Eustachian Tube Surgery, Cochlear Implant and Lateral Skull Base Surgery. Other interests are Children’s ENT disorders.
BSc (Med) MB BS FRACS (OHNS)
Specialising in Adults’ and Children’s Ear, Nose and Throat disorders, with a subspecialty interest in Head and Neck Cancer Surgery, Salivary Gland Surgery, Thyroid Surgery.
MBBS M Epi FRACS
Dr Veivers is an ENT surgeon specilaising in diseases of the head and neck both benign and malignant. Special interests include salivary gland disorders and laryngeal disorders.

Dr Wignall has keen interests and experience in Head & Neck Cancer Surgery, assessment of Snoring and Sleep Apnoea and Head & Neck “lumps & bumps” including Salivary Disorders, along with Voice and Laryngology.

Nicholas has an interest in Indigenous ear health and works closely with the Aboriginal Medical Service and Base Hospital in Griffith, undertaking ENT outreach clinics and performing surgery on a regular basis.

Specialising in Endoscopic Sinus and Nasal Airway Surgery as well as Anterior Skull Base Surgery. Other interests are Childrens Ear, Nose and Throat disorders.

Leba is a dual international fellowship trained ENT Head and Neck Surgeon who specialises in the treatment of Head and Neck Cancer. His special interests include benign and malignant tumours of the head and neck along with thyroid and parathyroid disorders.
