This weekend the Clinical Skills Centre and the ENT surgeons at the Royal North Shore Hospital hosted the Sydney Endoscopic Ear Surgery (SEES) Research Groups 6th Course. The course is an advanced fresh cadaver dissection course designed to introduce the practising otolaryngologist and senior trainee to the fundamentals of endoscopic ear surgery. The SEES Group runs this annual Endoscopic Ear Surgery course to advance the technique and its application throughout Australia, New Zealand, Asia and the world.
Invited international speakers included Professor Daniele Marchioni, Professor Adrian James and Dr Arun Iyer (See Details). The Local Faculty included Associate Professor Nirmal Patel, Dr Nicholas Jufas, Associate Professor Jonathan Kong and Dr Alex Saxby. The course took advantage of the unique facilities provided by the Clinical Skills Centre at Royal North Shore Hospital.
