The University of Sydney has been ranked 60 in the world and first in the state in the 2020 Times Higher Education (THE) World University rankings. It was placed 1st in NSW, 3rd in Australia. This year, more than 1300 institutions from 92 countries, were ranked in the World University rankings.

Dr Stephen Ruff receives a teaching excellence award.
